Lore Summary- Nile is a red au'ra with dark blue scales and dark blue eyes.

- Supposedly has an aetherial bond with a primal she calls Apep - The serpent deity of chaos (inb4 'making up a primal' is RP jail material)
- Apep gives Nile the ability to primeTM. PrimingTM transforms her scales into full-body armour and improves her combat performance. (Scales' colour also changes to red)
- Nile is 'from Thavnair' (as in, she only remembers waking up there after primingTM for the first time 10 years ago).
- She irritating. She punk. A fearless taunting connoisseur. (she can be a bit more normal around ppl she deems 'respectable'. ie. Elise)

Connection to Raiden's Dai-Ryumiyaku lore (fits somewhere in 5.0):
- Nile had been captured by the empire and imprisoned for primingTM. Their plan was to harness her power.
- Lucis - an eorzean spy who had infiltrated the empire's military - gives Raiden intel about this imprisoned WarriorTM.
- Raiden decides to free her and learn her power so he can become stronger, to eventually take Elise's place in the battlefield.
- Also, Lucis gets her some 'normal clothes' (which by his standards is hot topic drip)

- The empire promptly starts to search everywhere for Nile.
- Raiden and Grav come up with the genius idea of making Vaelk cosplay as Nile and pretend to be locked up in ul'dah
- Grav uses his negotiation skills to convince the empire that she had been captured by Ul'dah and there's nothing they can do about it now, so they stop the search

- Raiden takes Nile (whomst he just calls Alex) to the Steppe to train and unlock his primedTM form.
- Lucis accompanies them
- After losing a billion battles and being out-taunted by Nile, Raiden grows frustrated and this triggers his primed form - which Nile claims is bonded to Ra, the sun deity.
- Raiden's uncontrolled primal form tries to kill Nile

- Raiden can't remember exactly what happened after he primedTM, and there was no sign of Nile after the battle

[Fast forward to 6.0 Raiden Endgame lore]
(context: Raiden is in a fight with The Scythe GuyTM, but he had used Omicron tech to have a backup of his consciousness uploaded to a cyborg body that would be activated in case he died)
- Raiden is losing, and as he lies on the floor, he regains his memory of the fight with Nile, and that allows him to prime once again. More precisely, he remembers Nile saying he had summoned Ra, so as his last resort, he calls upon that name.
- In his primedTM form, Ra(iden) manages to use his power to defeat The Scythe GuyTM, but he didn't have total control over his body.
Director's notes: If Raiden were to lose control indefinitely, activating the cyborg body wouldn't be a way out, as it requires Raiden's aether for it to be more than just a soulless copy of him. If his irl body is alive (although hijacked by Ra), his aether can't be channeled into it .
- In this state, however, Raiden is able to communicate with Nile (in an aetherial form like Ardbert or smth)
Director's notes: Back when Ra/Raiden killed Apep/Nile, he had absorbed their aether. Then, as Raiden regained his memories of his fight against Nile - and her bond with Apep - their aetherial imageTM was reconstructed (5head lore based on egyptian mythology, but p sure actual ff primals have something similar about ppl willin em into existence or smth).Reminder: The backup of Raiden's consciousness that had been uploaded to the cyborg body has no recollection of that last fight with Nile (or these events after the backup was created). So if Raiden were to die here and reawaken in the cyborg body, he would be unable to prime, and consequently, to ever reach Nile again- Nile comments that Raiden should be able to summon Apep's Arbiter Axe now, and that, if he's willing to commit sudoku, it would be able to split Apep/Nile from Ra/Raiden (yeah, this is DMC5 logic).
- Raiden manages to summon Apep unto him, and he's able to materialize Apep's Arbiter axe to commit sudoku. Simultaneously, Apep uses its scale armour ability to crystalize Raiden's body, restricting its movement and impeding Ra from escaping once it took over after the split.
- Once they are split, Nile strikes Ra(iden)'s crystalized body.
- Ra is no moreTM
- Raiden awakens in his cyborg form. Since this backup of his consciousness is from before the fight, he has no recollection of what just happened, so he decides to investigate
- Raiden finds Nile in the battlefield, and the two try to clown on the situation. She explains what happened

[Post Endwalker lore]
-Lucis reluctantly lets Nile be his roommate until she can get her own place
- Throws a secret party at his apartment while he's out and invite the DyeTM gang. Proceeds to fail to make them try priming.
-She keeps telling Lucis she wants to go back to the onsen so he ironically says she should just live there instead
-She thinks that is actually a great idea so she just shows up there one day and makes it her home

-idk but maybe raiden asks her to show erica around when she shows up while they're out
-Nile hangs out with Erica lol?

-Arbiter axe prob breaks or smth after that last endwalker fight so she forges her viper swords, adding shards of it to one of em, and of ra to another (?)
-Raiden can probably still semi-prime somehow
